Logging In
You use yor Betfair Username and Password to Log In to Betfair.
- Your LogIn credentials are transmitted direct to the Betfair API via HTTPS, the secure Internet Protocol.
- All of your communication via ChromawebMT is direct to the Betfair API, so using ChromawebMT is as secure as using the Betfair Website.
The most common causes of LogIn failures are wrong Password/Username or Internet Connection down.
If you have a problem that is not caused by one of these, please consult 'Troubleshooting', or contact us at support.
Once you have Logged In successfully, the next screen will show, on the left, a menu of all the Markets currently available on Betfair, and in a pop-up above the main screen, the Default Settings for your Application.
Personalising and Saving your Defaults is covered at Defaults.
Once you have Saved your Defaults and/or closed the popup (You don't need to Save if you've made no changes), you can navigate the Menu to your required Market:
